GENERAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION
Continuing Education
For this Conference, we have new software that will allow you to print your certificates just two weeks after the Conference by going to EMDRIA's website (www.emdria.org/2010Conference.com). Not only will this allow you to receive your certificates faster, it will also assist in EMDRIA's "Going Green" initiative. This means that we will NOT be sending certificates in the mail this year. Please click here for more information.

*NEW* Session Handouts System
When checking in at registration to pick up Conference materials, attendees will be give a CD that will include session handouts (from participating presenters). In our efforts to "Go Green", we will no longer provide session handouts on-site at the Conference. In the next couple of weeks, we will email you instructions on how to print your handouts. If you forget to print them before you leave home, there will be a 24-hour business center at the hotel where you can print them from the CD for a fee using your credit card.
We hope to see you in Minneapolis!
Please contact Shira Kundinger at skundinger@emdria.org or Toll Free at 866.451.5200 or 512.451.5200, if you have any questions.

Education & Training
ATTENTION: EMDRIA BASIC TRAINING PROVIDERS
EMDRIA has updated the Basic Training Application, Curriculum, and have created a Policies and Procedures guide for those interested in submitting a Basic Training. In the EMDR Basic Training Curriculum, the changes occur on lines 63-72, regarding “Current EMDR Research”. We recommend all Basic Training Providers and those interested in submitting a Basic Training, to review these changes and follow-up with EMDRIA, if necessary. Click here to view the updated materials.
STANDARDS & TRAINING COMMITTEE RECRUITMENT
The EMDRIA Standards and Training Committee is actively looking to recruit additional members. With the number of EMDRIA Credit applications and Basic Training applications ever increasing, this heavy load has been on a few, but extremely dedicated, members of the current Committee. In theory, if we can recruit more people, the workload should lessen and program review times will shorten. Previous service on an EMDRIA Committee is preferred, but not required. If you’re interested in serving on this Committee, or if you would like more information, please contact our Education & Training Coordinator, Laura Hoye, at lhoye@emdria.org.
