Somatic Interventions to Enhance Effectiveness with EMDR Therapy

Approved for 7 EMDRIA Credits

This workshop aims to demonstrate ways to integrate somatic interweaves from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy into the 8-phase AIP Model to process early attachment wounds. It will help participants begin to "read" the body for the limiting beliefs it holds and will also introduce them to a range of body-based interventions that can be used as interweaves when processing loops or stalls. This workshop offers EMDR practitioners an opportunity to integrate techniques into their practice to enhance the effectiveness of EMDR processing when working with the wounds of early attachment failures or disruptions.
