This EMDR therapy basic training is the only Regional training in Texas authorized by both the EMDR Institute and Francine Shapiro and by the EMDR International Association. Our format is designed for clinicians who are interested in learning to integrate EMDR therapy successfully into their practice by developing and applying their skills over an extended period of time. The seminar consists of lecture, live and videotaped demonstrations, case studies, supervised practice and case consultation. Participants will have ample opportunity to discuss their cases throughout the course and evaluate how EMDR therapy can be applied. Participants will also practice EMDR therapy in small groups with direct observation and feedback from the trainer.

The training is conducted over 3-weekends, for a total of 50 hours, including the 10 hours of consultation required for completion of Basic Training.  40 EMDRIA Credits.  No partial credit.  Required reading:  Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing: Basic principles, protocols, and procedures, second edition, by Francine Shapiro, PhD, EMDR originator.
