About Me

I have dedicated more than 15 years assisting folx in overcoming a variety of challenges. I have worked with children and adults who have been neglected and abused, combat veterans, those experiencing a psychiatric crisis, and couples with relational problems. I also have extensive work experience in the substance use field. As a holistic therapist, I prioritize developing a therapeutic relationship based on trust and honesty. I am both a licensed clinical social worker and a chemical dependence counselor. In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing. I use all of my abilities, training, and experience to create meaningful change for my clients. I love my work, love people, and I am committed to making a difference in their lives. I identify as a Latinx, first-generation, heterosexual, cisgender female. I value diversity in our community and strive to foster an inclusive environment. All are welcome to come as you are.

Education & Experience

In addition to having professional experience, I am trained in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Sex Therapy, and Mindfulness. I utilize evidence-based practices to create a path for growth and healing for those I work with. Therapy is much more than understanding your feelings. I inspire clients to breathe new life into their dreams and aspirations and overcome the roadblocks along their journey to living an intentional story. This may include identifying personal strengths, increasing emotional tolerance, challenging distorted thoughts, and aligning behavior with personal values. You will find your voice, learn to nurture healthy relationships and develop internal and external resources to face life’s trials.
