Education & Experience

My education journey includes a Masters of Arts Degree of Clinical Psychology with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, CA. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Clinical Psychology from Idaho State University, located in Pocatello, ID. I am an EMDR Trained Therapist and consider myself to be a life-long learner and continue to update my practice based on the latest evidence of what works for the people I serve. I have experience providing counseling and psychological services in a variety of settings including education, mental health services, community clinics, crisis Mental Health Facility's, Skid Row in Downtown LA, and private practice. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches in my work including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Client Centered, Outcome Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Method, and Mindfulness practice.
