Ann Green, Psych Nurse Practitioner

(she/her)
Preferred Name: Ann

About Me

I offer individual, group and couples therapy and can also evaluate your need for and prescribe medication to supplement the therapy.  I work with clients who face relationship challenges, family conflicts, breakups, job stress, social anxiety, difficulties with asserting themselves or asking for what they need, My clients include working professionals, college students and people navigating life transitions.  I also specialize in helping people who’ve experienced childhood or adult trauma and am trained in a trauma-informed therapy style called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which helps people process and change their relationship to their traumatic experiences. I pair all this with group therapy where you can build with others, reflect on and gain new perspectives, learn to share your feelings, develop your relationship-building skills, learn to assert yourself, get closer to people, become better listeners and much more. Group therapy will provide you with emotional and social support to make emotional choices that can help you get unstuck and find new ways to address emotional pain. With over 35 years of experience, I am passionate about the work I do and love helping people grow emotionally and embrace their lives.
