Online Therapy

About Me

I work with individuals, families and couples in different life stages offering supportive, culturally inclusive therapy. My focus is on the wellbeing of the client(s) as we work towards your goals in life and wellbeing. I use a combination of therapy modalities and my knowledge of neuroscience to help with somatic experiencing, challenging thought patterns, behaviours, emotions, trauma and learned patterns that keep you from moving forward in life. I have lived in Canada for 20 years and I speak fluent Finnish and English, I also understand Swedish and German. My techniques include cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), EMDR (trauma work) and Gottman’s couples therapy. My approach in therapy is client-centered, anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed.

Education & Experience

I have a PhD in neuroscience and Masters degree in counselling.
