About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience in the field of mental health. My passion is working with people who have experienced trauma, who are adjusting to or living with chronic illness and pain, who are navigating grief, or are struggling with substance use and abuse. I help individuals, teens, and families through immediate crisis and ongoing challenges. I have experience treating first responders, medical professionals, and their families, and am committed to helping those whose careers are on the front lines of helping others.  My experience extends from individual and family therapy, to working in a trauma intensive care unit, to the emergency department, to domestic violence survivor advocacy.  I have been present with people in all stages of grief, trauma, illness, and addiction, and have guided people toward healing and change, honoring their pace and readiness. It has been my honor to witness growth and healing as it occurs, and to participate in the process.   I bring a warm, empathetic, and open approach to counseling, offering a safe space and acceptance from the moment you walk through the door. I use solution-focused therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed treatment, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to guide you on your journey of self-discovery.   I recognize that you are the expert on your own life and believe that there is more than one path to healing.  I will help you determine your goals and will walk alongside you to get you where you want to be. I strive to create a genuine bond based on mutual respect, honesty, and empathy, with people from all walks of life.   I believe every person is worthy of love and happiness and has the ability to make changes and improve their lives, selves, and relationships. My job is to help you get there.
