About Me
Finally, I have stepped into my passion for helping other by becoming a Therapist and opening my own Private Practice. I am from Denver, Colorado, but I began my journey in Social Work in Northern California where I worked at Meals on Wheels. I later moved to Alaska and completed my degree and work at Big Brothers Big Sisters. I moved back home to Denver and worked at a local government investigating child abuse cases for about one year. I quickly realized I needed to get my Master's in Social Worker, so I moved to Maryland where I completed my MSW. Upon graduation I was recruited to work at Montgomery County Child Welfare. I investigated child sexual abuse for approximately 13 years. I needed a subject shift, so I decided to leave the Department and I got on with Frederick County Public Schools. At the same time I got a part time job at local psychiatric hospital where I provided psychotherapy to adults patients. Three years later, during the pandemic I decided to open up my own private practice where I finally found my niche. I truly love my career. I am full of gratitude, that I am able to help people through their therapeutic journey!
