About Me

I was trained in EMDR Therapy by the Institute for Creative Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and my Master's in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have experience in crisis counseling at a suicide prevention center as well as supervision experience at a teen crisis line. In addition to operating a private practice, I also provide clinical services to dual-diagnosed military veterans, and was recently invited on Good Day LA to discuss the importance of trauma-informed care.
