About Me

Brian Schehrer has a broad cultural understanding of personal and relational struggles in life. He is able to meet clients in their current life situation and offer effective and compassionate treatment to become whole-hearted. He specializes in treating clients who experienced depression, anxiety, abuse and trauma. His extensive consultation work and training has been with Dr. EC Hurley, recipient of the 2019 EMDRIA award as greatest contributor to the therapeutic practice.

Has provided EMDR therapy and supportive counseling to the homeless individuals in Fort Worth and to homeless and incarcerated veterans mental health issues and substance addictions. - with the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition, Recover Resource Council and the Liberty House Veterans' Program 2016 - 2020 Led 3 NGO humanitarian relief missions to regions in Kosovo devastated by genocide and civil war - Humedica Internationale Hilfe 1999-2000
