Mrs. Brooke Halliday, MA, LPCC

About Me

I’ve been a therapist in the mental health field for about seven years and primarily work with clients ages 16 and up dealing with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, stress, major life events and more. I aim to create a non-judgmental space for my clients to show up just as they are. I believe in working collaboratively with clients using humor, validation, and empathy to build a solid connection which allows for clients to feel safe enough to try new ways of being and achieve their goals. In my experience I've found that, clients have the capacity within themselves for healing, when given the space to do so. Being able to witness my client's stories, their healing, and them making progress towards their goals is what keeps me passionate and in this field. For BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA+ individuals, individuals with disabilities, and individuals a part of any other marginalized group: I want to openly acknowledge that I am a white, able-bodied, female and recognize that could impact my ability to fully understand some of the difficulties you may experience in this world. I want you to know that I am still here for you and remain committed to creating a safe place for everyone and work to be as educated as I can be for people of various backgrounds and experiences.
