About Me

I am a counsellor in Hope, British Columbia, Canada. I see clients in-person and virtually, but they need to be a resident of the Province that I reside within. I work with teens in school during the day, and at night I have my private practice. I am primarily a generalist, with some specialization with trauma related mental health concerns.

Education & Experience

I have been to 8 different post secondary institutions, receiving a Masters in Arts (leadership), and a Masters in Education (Counselling). Micro courses include; May 2023 Mental Health in Schools Conference 2023 Feb 2023 Scenario Based Learning: Erase Provincial Protocol for Threat Assessment Feb 2023 Level 1 and Level 2 Basic Training, with supervision, in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma counselling, and registration with EMDRA Oct 2022 BC Association of School Counsellors Conference – Training focused on counselling and the law, plus a session on grief and loss.
