About Me
Therapy is a wonderful first step on your journey of discovery about yourself and your relationships. It takes courage to be vulnerable and seek help and I recognize this, and I am committed to helping guide you down your path of healing and recovery. I am here to provide you with a safe place based on a foundation of empathy, compassion, and understanding where you can feel comfortable discussing the painful and distressing issues that you may be struggling with. As each person and couple is different, I build a unique relationship or bond in an environment of warmth, trust, and non-judgment. Together we will work on helping you overcome challenges and lead a life that is more fulfilling and satisfying. I am passionate about helping people feel better, live better, and relate better.
Education & Experience
I am a LCSW with over 20 years of experience doing individual, group, and couples therapy for multicultural clients in diverse clinical settings. I incorporate the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based, Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR.
