About Me

Born and raised in Lafayette and later Carencro, LA., I am a 20 year resident of a Cajun Culture-laden rural community, Arnaudville, LA. My dad used to say "You can't get more Coon-Ass than crossing an Arceneaux and a Billeaud." I am married to my wonderful husband of 38 years who is a retired family law attorney. We share the love of our 2 children each from our prior marriages and have 4 beautiful grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. We love to travel, particularly to places we can scuba dive. My husband is a scuba diving instructor and I am a scuba diving teaching assistant. When spending time at home, I can't wait for the next opportunity to spend time with our family, especially the great grandsons! They can make me smile and laugh from the depth of my soul. I love flower gardening and cooking wonderful Cajun dishes I learned from my grandmother and step-grandfather.
