About Me

I strive to help folks who experience anxiety, ADHD, depression, bipolar, and other mental health conditions. Many of my clients are adults/families who have struggled with such issues as addiction, codependency, trauma, sexuality, and gender expression. I bring a strength-based humanistic approach to my work, believing that despite past events and behaviors, people want to improve the quality of their inner lives and their relationships. I have used body-centered modalities, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and behavior modification to help expand awareness about life choices. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Reiki. I continue to believe that the mind-body-spirit connection is vital to understanding the complexity of what it means to be human. Existential questions might be approached through this lens: What does it mean for me to be living this specific human life? How can I come to terms with my situation? How can I have compassion for myself as I work through difficulties?
