About Me
Hi! My name is Courtney. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) committed to helping you learn how to address the root causes of your difficulties and build stronger, more meaningful connections to yourself, your values, and those around you. My work focuses on working to accomplish your goals in a safe, welcoming environment that is free of judgement. I am passionate that every person is an expert in their own lives. My primary role is as co-pilot on the road to wellness. I work collaboratively to explore ways you can effectively regain a sense of empowerment, meaning and control in your live. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping people from all walks of life to achieve their goals, whether it is unlearning coping skills developed over time that are no longer helpful to you, feeling less anxious, feeling more connected to yourself or those around you, or just feeling less overwhelmed.
Education & Experience
I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from Arizona State University. I have worked in a variety of setting with a wide range of populations in an outpatient setting (individual, couples, and family therapy as well as IOP programs) and inpatient (both medical and psychiatric).
