Online Therapy

About Me

I do not believe in a one-size fits all therapeutic model. I believe that we were each created with unique characteristics and given circumstances that need individual attention. I am strategic in session planning and in helping clients based on their specific symptoms and needs. Since I believe in a holistic approach, I help my clients to create individualized treatment plans that will assist in breaking free from destructive thinking and behaviors while creating an increased sense of peace and balance in mental, physical, and spiritual health. I am a Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist with a primacy focus on trauma, anxiety, and depression among all age groups. I also have special training in working with couples, families, adolescents, and children. I offer a variety of therapeutic interventions to meet the specific needs of my clients and I offer EMDR treatment for ages 7+

Education & Experience

I graduated from Cincinnati Christian University in 2015 with a master's degree in counseling. My bachelor's degree is in psychology. Since graduation, I have continued education in areas of trauma among all age groups including developmental trauma, neuroscience, attachment and psychodynamic theory, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, EMDR, somatic experiencing, play therapy and sand tray techniques. I have also been trained in the Gottman Method and work with couples and families.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I have over 15 years of experience with youth and families in multiple volunteer/paid positions in the church setting. I have actively worked as a youth leader, Co-Worship leader, Sunday School Assistant, Outreach Coordinator, Church Planter, and Women’s Small Group Leader. Within these positions, I have been involved in countless charity fundraisers, food pantries, community volunteer projects, and concerts to help in various situations both locally and state-wide.
