Dana Wilkerson, LPC, RPT-S
About Me
Dana opened Living Water Counseling Center in 2011 with much anticipation to create an environment for well-trained therapists to provide quality services to their community. Service to others has been an important aspect of the counseling practice, and it is a blessing to see other therapists serve with the same level of enthusiasm and commitment. Dana considers it an honor to create a sacred space with a client in the therapeutic relationship. As clients are able to unravel developmental traumas, process relational difficulties, and dispel long-held cognitive beliefs, true healing emerges. When we work through painful circumstances, we are brought to a new appreciation of all that we have been through and what we can accomplish! Dana specializes in the treatment of trauma, building healthy attachments between parents and children, complex developmental trauma, working with children in the foster care system, couples and family therapy. Dana has been married for 32 years and has three children (ages 27, 26, 24) and a cute mini Australian Shepherd named, Brodie. In her spare time, she loves to visit Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.
