About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). I provide culturally inclusive therapeutic services in a group private practice. My work with clients includes issues related to anxiety, depression/mood disorders, trauma, abuse and neglect, veteran issues and moral injury, child behavior and parenting, self-harm, attachment, relationships, stress, and gender identity.
Education & Experience
Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, University of Texas Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, University of Maryland In addition to EMDR, I am specially trained in sand & play therapies, expressive arts, Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have clinical experience working with children, teens & adults in a variety of settings, including: inpatient hospitals; partial hospitalization programs; intensive in-home services; and outpatient clinical settings. I regularly attend trainings and workshops to further develop my clinical skills and knowledge base, and to stay abreast of best practices and research in the field. I participate in several consultation groups and focused study groups.
