About Me
I believe that everyone has an inherent capacity for healing, but sometimes life’s challenges or past traumas can make us feel disconnected from our own strength. My name is DeLaina, and as an LMSW, I am dedicated to walking alongside you as you navigate these difficult chapters.
With over 25 years of experience in education and leadership, I bring a unique perspective to my clinical work—one that values patience, deep listening, and the belief that growth is possible at any stage of life. I specialize in treating trauma and PTSD using evidence-based modalities like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and CBT.
My approach is 'person-centered,' meaning I don't just see a diagnosis; I see you. Whether you are an adult or an adolescent (12+), I strive to create a safe, validating space where you can process your experiences and build the tools needed for a more peaceful, empowered future. Outside of the office, I find my own balance in nature, golfing, and spending time with my dog, Watson.
