About Me
Diane Semerak is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified EMDR Therapist. She worked in community mental health for 20 years and now offers televideo or in-office sessions on Wednesdays-Saturdays at her private practice in Glenwood Springs, CO. With 20+ years’ experience, Diane uses a holistic and integrative approach in providing individual therapy to adults 21-65 years old. Issues addressed include: depression, anxiety/panic, childhood abuse, trauma and PTSD, dissociation, stress management, self-improvement and personal growth. Diane helps clients remove obstacles to goal achievement to promote lasting change by encouraging mindful awareness, reflection and authentic self-expression. She offers a free 20-minute phone consultation for prospective clients.
Education & Experience
MA in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education, University of Colorado-Denver, 2001 Postgraduate training in treatment of Anxiety, Grief, Complex Trauma and Dissociation, using EMDR therapy and adjunct modalities Hypnotherapy Academy of America, 500-hour training program, 2020-2023.
