About Me
In my past work, I have provided counselling to a diverse range of client groups, including homeless people with schizophrenia, LGBTQ people living with HIV/AIDS, victims of domestic violence, survivors of childhood trauma, people with substances use challenges and bereaved seniors, to name a few. From a breadth of professional experience, I am well-prepared to support you or your loved ones in your mental health recovery. From over 20 years of providing frontline, client-centred services, I have advanced clinical knowledge and skills across the spectrum of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, complex PTSD, substance use/addictions, grief/bereavement, chronic pain/illness, disability, discrimination/stigma, self-esteem, family/domestic conflict and work-related stress. My experience includes providing counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, adults, children and families. In my work, I have consistently fostered improved mental health outcomes for the people in my care.
