About Me
My name is Elena Felipe and I am an educator, healthcare worker and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, and D.C.. I am a queer woman of Cuban descent and look to finds ways to help my clients fully integrate all the parts that make them whole in an affirming and loving way. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL. I later attended Barry University in Miami Shores, FL and earned a Master of Social Work degree. My doctoral degree in Education is from Keiser University. Life can put us in situations that cause us to examine our feelings, perceptions, and behaviors. Some days we feel like we're soaring and succeeding, while other days we're overwhelmed and perplexed. My goal is to help each client gain new insights and confidence in their own abilities to overcome the challenging feelings and situations that life might throw at us. It takes a lot of guts to seek help. I want to provide a welcoming environment where people may come to heal and explore their feelings and thoughts. We will work together in counseling to process challenging life seasons, building on your strengths and exploring new options for healing and fulfillment.
