About Me

You want to know “How did I get here?”, especially since you’ve experienced so much success on paper, which you thought would make you feel good.  My goal is to help you answer that question and move forward with intention.  We’ll do that together by taking a close look at your patterns of behavior, past experiences, relationships, and goals for your future. I will provide guidance as you work through potentially difficult emotions and memories. Therapy is a safe place to do hard work, enabling you to live your life without feeling burdened by the past.  You are a capable person, no doubt you’ve tried to improve your mental health already through reading, podcasts, and other self-help resources, but you haven’t been able to succeed on your own.  I can bridge the gap between your goals and your reality. Through years of experience working as a trauma-informed therapist in some of the most challenging settings, I’m uniquely qualified to help. I will draw from several models of therapy, tailored to your needs as I get to know your individual story. Clients describe me as patient, analytical, perceptive, and intelligent. I will always be straightforward with you and strike a balance between listening and guidance.
