About Me
My work as an EMDR therapist is further grounded in relational-cultural theory, which places mutually growth-fostering relationships at the center of our well-being. My therapeutic style combines building a strong therapist-client relationship with empowering you to build insight and tools to reach your goals. I work with clients to better understand the personal, historical, and social factors that can lead to disconnection– from oneself, others, community, spirituality, and the environment. This chronic disconnection is at the root of mental illness and social inequity. I have great respect for my clients and believe in co-creating our relationship and your treatment to integrate your personal experience and reach a place of healing.
