About Me
Faith takes a collaborative approach, believing that the client is the architect of their life. Safety, trust, and authenticity from both the client and the therapist are what creates the therapeutic alliance. Faith believes that meeting every client where they are in their personal journey is important, and treats every client as an individual, appreciating and valuing their unique life experiences. As an EMDR Certified therapist, Faith offers EMDR therapy and integrates it into treatment when appropriate. She also utilizes Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Parts Work to help clients gain deeper insight into themselves, achieving balance and harmony within their internal world. Faith tailors her approach using evidence-based methods, such as mindfulness strategies for addressing somatic trauma responses and interventions that challenge negative thinking patterns and behaviors rooted in past experiences. Additionally, Faith offers EMDR intensives, a powerful approach to rapidly process trauma in a condensed time frame. This allows clients to experience deep healing and significant progress in fewer sessions compared to traditional weekly therapy. Faith is skilled in working with clients who have histories of attachment trauma, relationship difficulties, first generation experiences & difficulties, survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, and those experiencing grief and loss. She also has experience in treating a myriad of mental health diagnosis, some of these including anxiety, depression, ADHD, C-PTSD, dissociative disorders, adjustment disorders and helping navigate challenging life transitions. By building clients' awareness of their trauma responses and the roles they may have been conditioned into during childhood, Faith helps them explore the fears that may be holding them back. She works collaboratively to shift clients from survival modes into more adaptive ways of being, empowering them to reclaim their lives and thrive beyond their trauma. Faith believes that "the person who holds the narrative holds the power." Through her work, she helps clients reclaim their personal narratives, empowering them to find their voice and decide who they want to become. By fostering this sense of freedom, Faith guides clients in creating lives rooted in self-awareness, resilience, and authenticity, allowing them to transcend their trauma and thrive.
