Gina Connor, LICSW
Specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, body image concerns, trauma/PTSD, and anxiety disorders. Gina has over 8 years of experience providing clinical mental health services. She is interested in working with adults and young adults who have co-morbid diagnoses and has experience working with individuals who struggle with maladaptive coping (self-harm, self-sabotage etc). Gina is committed to the Health at Every Size (HAES) principles, and collaborates with her client’s multidisciplinary team members such as psychiatrists, medical doctors and dietitians for continuity of care.
Education & Experience
Gina has experience working in a psychiatric PHP setting, eating disorder facility, residential program serving those with traumatic brain injuries, and an alternative school. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Suffolk University, studying Psychology and Education and Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Simmons College. She received her Level 1 and 2 EMDR training from The Center of Excellence. She is also trained in Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP).
