I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Illinois. My focus is on women and trauma.
Education & Experience
I have been in the social service and mental health field for 15 years. I was a director of family member programs that assisted military members and families adjust to the military lifestyle during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. After retiring from the military I transitioned into mental health counseling with a focus on family violence, women, and trauma. I have been trauma-focused for the last 6 years using modalities such as EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Narrative.
