Ms. Hannah Raine-Smith, MSc, PG Dip, BSc, BA
About Me
I am a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor working in private practice in the UK. I have a special interest in working with complex trauma. My original undergrad was in music and visual art, and I use this inspiration to work creatively with EMDR.
Education & Experience
My initial training was a degree in integrative psychotherapy where I spent 3 years working in domestic violence charities. I then trained under Derek Farrell MBE on the EMDR therapy masters in the UK, where I learnt to adapt the 8-phases of EMDR to work with a wide range of psychological issues. I also studied postgraduate level cognitive neuroscience at Cardiff University Brain Imaging Centre, and I use this training to inform my pracademic research.
