About Me
My name is Hannah and I am a psychotherapist who believes in a holistic non-judgmental approach to therapy .I work with adults, primarily in their 20s-40s who want to cope with the impacts of past trauma, reduce anxiety, improve interpersonal relationships, increase self-esteem, and navigate life transitions. I often work with other therapists as well. I am trained in Attachment-Focused EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) - a therapy that can allow you to heal and distance yourself from traumatic memories or difficult symptoms, in turn reducing and eliminating distress. I take a relational approach to therapy, using the therapeutic relationship to model safety, boundaries, and trust. I will often teach my clients about the mind-body connection in hopes of empowering them to heal. It is my hope that together we can identify any barriers to inner-peace and make positive change occur in your life.
Education & Experience
I am trained in Attachment-Focused EMDR through the Parnell Institute. I earned my B.S. in Psychology and Family & Child Sciences from Florida State University and my M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University.
