About Me

I’m Janet Gray, a fully licensed mental health counselor with the State of Michigan (LPC) and a nationally certified counselor (NCC). My experience and training are in the areas of crisis and trauma, grief and adjustment issues, relationship concerns, anxiety/depression, behavioral issues, substance use disorders and work / school struggles. Though I specialize in working with trauma, I work with all clients with a range of issues if I have the appropriate training and experience.

Education & Experience

I received my Masters in Counseling from Ashland University in August 2013 and extensive post-graduate training in: trauma therapy, behavior modification, motivational interviewing, internal family systems, integrative therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy. Additionally, I have certifications in Couples counseling, EMDR, spiritual guidance, and emotionally focused therapy.
