Jennifer Schalow, LPC is a military spouse who is practicing in her own private practice called Revive Wellness Company. Ms. Schalow hopes to continue serving more people with anxiety, depression, religious trauma, complex trauma, first responders, veterans, and their families by assisting them in their own personal growth and re-discovering their own meaning and purpose in life in how to heal from trauma. With her multifaceted experience and expertise she is passionate about implementing a compassionate therapeutic approach focusing on the client through EMDR. "We experience stressors and even traumatic events that negatively impact our lives in this life. My greatest passion is to help people find healing and re-center themselves through healthy perceptions, resiliency, and strength-building exercises and techniques. There is no single appropriate approach for one person; hence, I am trained in several modalities and therapies to assist my clients with the best strategies and therapeutic approaches for them and their lives."
Education & Experience
Jennifer Schalow, LPC, is an experienced trauma-informed licensed professional counselor with experience in working with trauma survivors, law enforcement, military veterans, and their families since 2007. She has worked in various supportive and therapeutic milieus that have enriched her understanding of the unique needs of those who experience trauma, anxiety, and depression. She is a certified first responder therapist with additional training in C-PTSD, PTSD, Developmental Trauma, CPT, EFT, CBT, and EMDR. Her area of expertise and interests include assisting religious trauma and complex trauma survivors, first responders, and military and their families with the return to an optimal level of functioning within the community, in their own life, and as a family unit. Her strength lies in her compassionate human connection, therapeutic skills, client empowerment, and the practical problem-solving offered by a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach. Through work with trauma survivors, first responders, and veterans, she has learned that personal resiliency and post-traumatic growth is possible.
