Jennifer Marie Pivovarnik, M.E.d., LPC, NCC

Jennifer's specialties include EMDR, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders and PTSD. She has worked with adults, adolescents, children and families in individual, group, and family therapy for the past 13 years. She is very active, energetic, involved and personal in her therapy sessions. Jennifer incorporates a blend of approaches, evidence-based practices, styles, and treatment modalities to find what is most helpful for each individual client. She provides support and understanding to help clients build on their strengths in order to gain the personal growth they would like to achieve. She has been utilizing EMDR in her practice since 2020 and believes that our emotional well-being is interwoven with our physical state. She works with a variety of concerns including depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, behavioral disorders, divorce and grief.
Education & Experience
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services from The University of Maryland. She has received additional training from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling.
