About Me
I’m a first-generation Mexican-American queer person. Personally, I’m still in the stage of truly understanding my own gender identity and navigating what that means for me. It is my own lived experience with my culture, my language, and my sexual/gender identity that has shaped my passion to support individuals navigating and creating their own story.
Education & Experience
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. Following that I obtained my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. I provided services as a therapist in NM with a community agency serving individuals from 6 years old to 80+ for about 4 years. I, now have, my independent licensure in California where I now practice.
