Online Therapy

About Me

I am passionate about helping you find relief from trauma and I love to facilitate reflective yet practical therapy that has the potential to bring about long-term benefits. I believe in providing my clients with trusted and knowledgeable therapeutic care and want to collaborate with you in finding the direction that meets your unique experiences and goals, whether that's moving forward in life, looking backward at your story, or seeing further inward for self-understanding. I believe it's a privilege that I get to be a therapist every day and I truly respect what goes into the process of entrusting your story to someone else - even if it's just for one hour each week. My hope for those I work with is that they will leave therapy with more self-kindness, self-knowledge, helpful tools, and a sense of resilience and recovery that will continue to serve them as they move forward in life.

Education & Experience

I come to this work with ten+ years of experience in the trauma and education fields after having lived and worked in Southeast Europe and Western Asia as part of refugee, terrorism, trafficking, domestic violence, and trauma response teams. I have an M.A. in Clinical Psychology, an M.A. in International Development, and post-graduate training in relevant areas such as complex trauma, grief, attachment, affective neuroscience, and early childhood mental health. I aim to make sure I'm up-to-date with the latest mental health research so that therapy with me is always informed by the latest insights about trauma and the therapeutic process.
