About Me
With many years of experience as a psychotherapist, Jim has established himself as a skilled clinician and a compassionate listener, helping his clients work through depression, stress, anxiety, relationship problems, recent or past traumas, gender issues, and PTSD. He also specializes in personal growth and adjustment to life’s transitions, helping people navigate through changes, grief and loss, and in finding meaning and balance in their lives. Jim combines his natural ability to connect with people with his knowledge and use of psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, and effective evidence-based treatment modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and EMDR.
