About Me

I believe that therapy is one of the greatest tools we can give ourselves. It can help us feel more confident, give us a better understanding of our relationships, and allows us to feel more connected to our mind and body. My hope is to offer a safe and supportive space to heal and explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. During our time together, I’ll listen and also help you achieve your goals by using a holistic therapeutic approach. My background includes training in harm reduction, EMDR, trauma-informed care, and art history—all emphasizing the importance of human connection, creativity, and the prominence of setting realistic achievable goals. I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Ryokan College and have experience working with people who are exploring their gender identity, Latinx, and individuals who use or misuse drugs and alcohol. Prior to becoming a Clinical Psychologist, I worked in the non-profit social service world. This gave me the opportunity to work with people who are or have experienced homelessness, LGBTQ+ youth, and individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. These communities mean a lot to me and I continue to remain active in advocating for them. Social justice is very important to me and I want everyone to be able to feel visible and valuable. I like questions! If you have any please feel free to email or call me. I offer a free 15-minute introductory session. This is a time where you can get to know me, get answers to your questions, and learn about how I work. Thanks again for reading my bio and I look forward to hearing from you.
