Education & Experience

I have been working in the field of mental health for the past 14 yeas. I began my journey as a wilderness therapy field guide, then a transitional living home life skills mentor, and for the last 8 years as a therapist for people of all ages. I specialize in working with people’s nervous systems and utilizing animals and nature to help people gain connection, personal insight, coping skills and awareness to help overcome challenges, fulfill themselves and achieve life goals. Experience: I have a range of experience working with individuals - adolescents, young adults, adults, families and companies and can assist with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, impulsivity, ADHD, family communication, improving systems, self awareness, personal growth, and self exploration. Education: I am a licensed professional counselor with advanced training in animal assisted and gestalt equine therapy. I am also trained in EMDR, DBT and addiction work. I received my BA in Psychology from The Colorado College and my MA in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado.
