About Me
I have a passion for working with children and families working through difficult circumstances including foster care, grief and loss, gender and sexual identity issues, past abuse, depression, and anxiety. I also have many years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries and am able to adapt my approach to suit the needs of each individual. My background in Music Therapy and the creative arts allows me to use a variety of ways to help people identify, express, and cope with their feelings. I also incorporate mindfulness strategies, self-compassion, and play therapy strategies into my sessions.
