About Me

I am a Certified EMDR Therapist & EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I sought EMDR training (2001) because of its effectiveness for PTSD; Anxiety Disorders; Trauma; Grief & Loss; & Self-Identity issues. I have a Private Practice in Naples, Florida. I treat Individual Adults & Therapists. I am also Certified in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, which complements my treatment choices. EMDR Therapy is powerful for treating emotional, physical, and mental wounds. I use EMDR Therapy to help patients overcome losses and achieve personal goals, i.e., improved relationships, healthy lifestyle habits, greater self-esteem & more joyful living. With EMDR Therapy, I create a safe therapeutic environment where clients can recognize their strengths, heal from traumatic events and change self-sabotaging patterns. My goal in using EMDR Therapy is assisting clients to process life’s losses and traumas so they understand themselves & their reactions better. We can put an end to suffering and form new, healthy habits. I use EMDR Therapy to create safety and trust in my therapeutic relationships & I aim to strengthen my own skills at annual EMDR Conferences & Interpersonal Studies. New EMDR Research & Consultation training helps me refresh my Clinical knowledge, as well as expand, and update my professional skill set.
