Education & Experience

I have 40 years of experience in the field. I have worked in addiction treatment with those suffering from addictive disease and their families in various capacities including as a therapist, program developer, consultant, program manager & educator. As a private practitioner I have specialized in women's empowerment issues, addiction & co-addiction, psychospiritual/transpersonal issues, and the treatment of depression, anxiety and co-occurring conditions. I have an extensive background in providing marital and family therapy, and recently I have added EMDR to my repertoire. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from JFK University & a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Studies with an Emphasis in Women's Spiritual Development from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (both in California).
