About Me
My passion is working with clients with issues that hinder their daily lives: PTSD and secondary trauma, anxiety, chronic pain/illness, and codependency. Because of the weight of the pain that comes with these concerns, I find pride in my role of sitting with my clients and honoring their struggle. Additionally, I have a specific passion for helping those in the helping profession. It is often those who help others that don't have anywhere to turn when they are in struggle due to their profession. I hope to be that place you can turn to find help and healing. I have had clients describe me as honest, straight-forward, and passionate. It is this passion that I take into each session, no matter my client and what we are working on, to help build connection and foster healing.
Education & Experience
On a educational and professional note, I received my BS in Psychology from Georgia College and State University in 2010 and my MA in Professional Counseling from Lipscomb University in 2013. I was also trained in EMDR (levels I and II) in 2013 from EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs.
