About Me

Kathryn (Katie) O'Brasky has been licensed since 1992. She started out her career as a clinical social worker in both inpatient and residential treatment centers working with children, adolescence and adults. She then joined an employee assistance program as a clinical therapist, assistant clinical supervisor and then manager of provider relations overseeing a vast network of therapist both nationally and internationally. She has been in fulltime private practice since 2004. Katie has experience working with a vast majority of issues but specializes in mood disorders, chemical dependency, trauma and out of control sexual behavior.

Education & Experience

Katie received her MSW degree at San Diego State University in 1988. She has advanced training in Chemical Dependency, Out of Control Sexual Behavior, Pia Melody's PIT training (relational trauma based) and TRM (Trauma Resiliency Model).
