Keisha's professional areas of interest include self-esteem, stress, family conflict, racial identity, ethnic/cultural issues, minority issues, women's issues, trauma and the intersection of race, culture, class, gender, spirituality and mental wellness.
Education & Experience
Keisha holds a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University. She graduated from Cleveland State University with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Sociology. Her degrees in Sociology focus on Race, Class, and Gender Inequality as well as Family Systems, with a minor in African American Studies. Keisha has over 15 years of experience working with a diverse population of individuals, children, and families in Ohio with multifaceted issues surrounding the abuse and neglect of children. She has worked with clients in clinical and community settings. Keisha has worked with individuals who have experienced physical/sexual abuse and neglect, behavioral issues, intimate partner violence, substance use, anxiety, depression (including postpartum depression), relationship challenges, life transitions, grief/loss, trauma, and stress.
