Keri Aschoff, LPC, NCC
About Me
Offering psychotherapy counseling services, Keri is passionate about helping adults and adolescents turn their hardships into hope and healing. Keri has had extensive experience working with seriously-ill youth and their families as the executive director of the charity she founded, named Mik's Hidden Hearts Alliance ( MHHA 2010-2018) after her daughter became ill with a debilitating form of dysautonomia. Due to her own personal journey as a caregiver mom and recognizing this life-changing illness affected the mental well-being of her other two children as well, counseling became a vital resource to help her family get through those difficult years. Through this personal experience and working with MHHA families, Keri was inspired to pursue her counseling education further so that she can help people on a more fundamental therapeutic level as they navigate their hardships towards finding their healing peace. Areas of focus include, but not limited to: trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, school/work problems, relationship struggles, betrayal trauma and healing from narcissistic emotional abuse. Helping to improve family relationships, guiding people as they overcome their past traumas, supporting people as they become aware of their strengths and purpose, and partnering with them as they seek to live a fulfilled life is just part of what makes me value being a counselor.

Keri received her undergraduate degree Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She is currently in the process of receiving her PhD in Health Sciences with a focus on trauma-informed care.
