Kristen Sanniec
Education & Experience
My name is Kristen Sanniec and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I received my Bachelors Degree from Arizona State University in Communications and my Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have experience working with individuals, teens, families, groups in both inpatient and outpatient programs. I specialize in post-traumatic disorders, domestic violence, abuse, loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship conflict and self-esteem. I am trained in the areas of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I currently volunteer by singing on the worship team at my church in Dallas. I also participate in volunteer events as a handler for my therapy dog Ava, who is sweet and gentle Doberman. Ava also participates in counseling sessions for adults and teens.
