About Me
I wholeheartedly believe, "when needing compassion, we need someone who is deeply rooted, is able to bend and, most of all, embraces us for our strengths and struggles," Brene Brown. I work with a wide scope of clients who have experienced abuse, sexual violence and assault, challenges with sports performance and injury, anxiety and depression. I have a passion for supporting emergency responders and spouses because I'm also a spouse of an emergency responder. Our home lives are different because the nature of the job is different. I am trained in EMDR, Certified in Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems informed, as well as several other therapeutic modalities. I have specialized experience in vocational/career rehabilitation counseling, and supporting individuals to overcome obstacles surrounding career transitions. Whether an individual has experienced trauma (past or cumulative) or struggled with anxiety, depression, abuse, emotional neglect, challenges surrounding sport performance/blocks, or wish to enhance creativity or strengthen a desired state of being, my goal is to provide an environment of encouragement, compassion and understanding to help each of my clients attain the growth and changes they want to achieve.
