Preferred Name: Lauren
About Me
As a warm, compassionate, direct, and supportive clinician, Dr. Miller believes the client is the expert in their life and their experience, while looking to assist the client's understanding, processing, and evolution to their next goal. Her approach is rooted in attachment theory, utilizing the client-therapist relationship to listen, coach, and impart a curated skill set to meet a client where they are at this moment in time and walk with them towards their next chapter, goal, and incline. Dr. Miller is an accredited Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and a certified therapist and facilitator of The Daring Way. Dr. Miller has expertise working with sport performance, life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, coping skills, relationship discourse, attachment theory and a variety of other arenas. Resourcing, building connections and asking for help are vulnerable experiences. Starting your therapy journey can be unnerving and Dr. Miller strives to offer space and support while you begin this journey. If her practice and style resonate with you, do not hesitate to reach out. Best of luck and well done on taking your next step in starting therapy.
