About Me
I have been in Community Mental Health for the majority of my career and truly love serving the underrepresented populations. The people we serve in this setting have had so many difficulties navigating life and the mental health care system, it is so imperative to create a safe, calm and open approach when it mental health treatment. It is encouraging to see people served making progress and growing in life to reach their goals and make a life worth living!
Education & Experience
I have a Bachelors Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University obtained in 2001, and I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2002. I started my career in Early Steps. My next job role was in School Based Therapy in the Community. I have been a Counselor in Community Health Centers for the majority of my career. I love to work with folks who have endured traumatic life experiences and are seeking healing and recovery.
